History

Founded in 1985 by James Bagnell the present director, the company is well respected within the bathroom industry. With over 15 years experience designing and supplying luxury bathrooms from select European manufacturers we are now at the pinnacle of our profession. In 1998, Walton Bathrooms opened a new 3500 sq ft showroom in The Hersham Centre, Hersham, Surrey. The showrooms are one of the largest you will find in England. All room sets are carefully designed and co-ordinated to give our clients some wonderful ideas and inspiration for their new bathroom. The company specialises in modern and contemporary bathrooms showing products from Germany, Italy, France and Switzerland. One of our main specialities is the designing, planning and installation of luxury bathrooms. Using five of the largest manufacturers of bathroom furniture in Europe, we will always find the correct fitted bathroom product within your budget.

The Ground Floor Bathrooms

All of our displays are modern and contemporary both in the products selected and the design of room sets. In this area, we have a mixture of styles and concepts to cover most tastes and eventualities. Each setting is individually dressed with accessories, towels, mats and bathroom related ornaments to give the feel of a real room thus enabling people to envisage the finished concept. Working whirlpools and spa baths allow customers the possibility of enhancing their bathrooms with more luxurious products.

Ground Floor Tiles

Accessed from the rear of the ground floor showroom over a few steps, this new extension to the showroom. Opened in July 2003 this is principally a tile studio, our comprehensive ranges of tiles are displayed in dedicated tile stands and are used in conjunction with ceramic colours and brassware to co-ordinate different schemes.

The walls have been divided into beech racks displaying many different material finishes, from Quartz, marble and granite to Corian and glass. Individual samples can be lifted to put next to tiles or furniture samples to help match the whole bathroom concept making the process of selection a tactile experience.

In front of the showroom there are easy chairs facing a plasma TV screen. Clients can relax with a coffee from the kitchenette and watch designs being produced and product information films. A small area off to the side has small chairs and a bench seat for younger visitors - their own crèche along with toys, games a TV, video and DVD to watch while their parents choose their bathrooms and tiles. Towards the rear of the showroom there is a coffee table and chairs within easy reach of the kitchenette - another area for the clients to relax whilst they discuss their project. The kitchenette has tea, coffee and refreshment facilities at all times of the day and clients are encouraged to help themselves. This new annex area is designed to enable the customer to spend as much time as they wish discussing their project or trying out different combinations to create the exact look and feel they desire in a comfortable and informal environment.

First Floor New Products

The newly refurbished 1st floor of the showroom is reached by a steel and glass staircase from the rear of the ground floor showroom. Designed and built to create an open spacious feeling and to help entice people upstairs. This leads you to a completely different environment. Here customers can view simple singular displays of furniture, showers and sanitary ware as well as whole bathroom sets. This area focuses on new products and innovations.

Tea, coffee and soft drinks and refreshments are available from the fully equipped kitchen at all times of the day. Customers are invited to help themselves. Adjacent to the kitchen area are the cloakrooms designed and installed to the same high standard of our displays and installation. Many customers like to see what our facilities are like and will draw conclusions as to the quality of our finished products once installed and operational

Administration Areas

We have modern office equipment and state of art design computers. A fully networked database system allows order information to be accessed from any location within the showroom. The infrastructure set up for the telephone system enables all staff to be contactable from anywhere in the company at anytime giving a quick response to customer's questions and enquiries.

We display products in the best environment possible and give careful consideration to all aspects our showroom. We ensure that the showrooms are well maintained at all times. We have provided the client with informal areas within the showroom to make the whole project experience as pleasurable as it should be.
